The Post, along with Telephone and Telegraph of Kosovo (PTT), was established on 21st December 1959, under a Decision no. 1115497/1-1959 of the Steering Council of Yugoslavian PTT Communion, and with the approval of the Executive Council of the National Republic of Serbia IU – nr. 771 dated 18th of December 1959.

Posta, Telephone and Telegraph of Kosovo was registered as an enterprise, for the first time, on 25th March 1960, no. 137/60, at the District Economical Court in Prishtina.
